Safe Deal Zones in Pembroke Pines
Because peace of mind should be part of every transaction.

Safe Deal Zones at Pembroke Pines Police Department
If you've ever sold something online and felt unsure about meeting a stranger in person—you're not alone.
That’s why I use and recommend one of Pembroke Pines’ most thoughtful public safety resources: our Safe Deal Zones.
Both our East and West Police Stations have designated spaces open to the public where you can safely meet to complete online sales, custody exchanges, or other in-person meetups.
These zones were created in honor of Zachary Finch, the brother of Officer Nicholas Finch, who tragically lost his life during an online sale gone wrong. What could’ve been a simple transaction became something unimaginable—and the city has stepped up to make sure we all have a safer option.
Where to Go:
East PD Headquarters
📍 9500 Pines Boulevard
🕒 Lobby & parking lot accessible 24/7
West PD Substation
📍 18400 Johnson Street
🕒 Parking lot accessible 24/7
⚠️ A Quick Note:
If your transaction involves any type of weapon, the PPPD asks that you notify them in advance at 954-431-2200.
Why Locals Love it
Whether you’re picking up a Facebook Marketplace dresser, exchanging sports equipment, or coordinating a custody hand-off—you deserve to feel safe doing it.
This is one more reason I’m proud to live and work in a city that takes care of its people.
Know someone who needs this? Forward it to them.
Or better yet, bookmark it—you’ll probably use it more than you think.
